OOTD: Easter 2015

Hello lovelies!

I have another OOTD for you today! Today I celebrated my Greek Orthodox Easter and I had a blast!

Dress: from Banana Republic. This is probably my favourite Spring dress of the season. It is a structured dress with short sleeves and a blue floral pattern. I love how this dress has a deep "V" neckline and it cinches at the waist.

Shoes: I am wearing my Steve Madden nude flats. They are really comfortable and look cute with almost any outfit! You can never go wrong with nude shoes!

Jewelry: I am wearing my Pandora charm bracelet, and a bracelet I got while I was in Greece. They both have hints of blue in them and compliment the dress.

Hair: I went with loose curls for this outfit. I felt that they framed my face and added some texture to my ensemble!

Makeup: I went simple today. I used my Bourjois foundation, my Benefit concealer, Rimmel "Stay Matte Powder", MAC blush, my eyeshadow palette from The Body Shop, and my usual mascara.

I love this look and I feel like it is perfect for Spring and perfect for Easter!

Stacy London: My Fashion Inspiration

Hello Lovelies!

We all love fashion, and all have our own unique styles! I know that I love anything to do with clothes, hair, makeup, shoes, accessories, etc. (I could go on, and on!) There is one person in particular who has become one of my greatest style inspirations and have given me some great fashion tips and tricks that I use in my everyday wardrobe! Not to mention her values and definition of style are ones to live by!

Stacy London

Now, I know that I have ranted about how much I LOVE...I repeat, LOVE, Stacy London!!! She is the epitamy of style and is always on trend! She is best known for her hit show, "What Not to Wear", and now has her own fabulous show called "Love Lust or Run". (Feel free to check out my post about her new show: My Post) She has a keen eye for what will look good on people. Here are some of my favourite looks:

https://www.pinterest.com/ZelleMar/wntw-stacy-london/
This beautiful yellow chiffon top and floral pencil skirt are the perfect combo! The bold colours compliment her skin tone and her hair! Perfect outift in my opinion! ;)

This outfit is probably one of my faves! The combination of this cute loose-fitting chiffon top and this stunning long coat, paired with some black skinnies and pointed heels is perfection! Not to mention her fab statement necklace!

https://www.pinterest.com/ZelleMar/wntw-stacy-london/

I am in love with Stacy's shoes in thie outfit! They add a pop of colour to a neutral outfit. I also like how she does a patterned pant with a sold shirt and trendy blazer.

https://www.pinterest.com/ZelleMar/wntw-stacy-london/
This outift is edgy and cute! The studded bag and leather pants, along with the burgundy blazer and pointed boots are the perfect combo for a refined yet edgy look! Love this look! This look could be re-created easily for cheaper! (maybe another post idea!)

This has to be the ultimate business casual outift ever! This patterned pencil skirt and beaded trim chiffon top, along with the sophisticated blazer makes a great first impression! ...Not to mention her shoes are to die for!! ;)

The first thing I notice about this outfit, is the gorgeous a line skirt! What a masterpiece! The floral print goes very well with the solid shirt and  pop of bling in the statement necklace! It cinches in at her waist and has the perfect amount of flair! Plus, those sunglasses make her look so fierce! I love it!

I hope you enjoyed my favourtie styles from Stacy London! She is and will always be one of my fashion idols!

Today's the Day: the First Leg of Travelling to Germany!

Hello lovelies!

Today is the beginning of a super fun Music Grad trip to Germany and Prague! I could not be more excited to share some great memories with my friends and peers and perform in Leipzig and Prague! What an experience!

We are heading out today for one LONG day of travelling (I think I am going to be dead by the time we actually get to our hotel) and I though I would share with you my OOTD for travelling today. I want to stay comfortable, but also look cute!

For pants, I decided to wear a pair of leggings from Reitmans. These leggings are unbelievably comfy and are thicker so they feel more like pants than leggings. I LOVE them! (I suggest you go and look at their website!)

For a shirt, I went with a loose fitting grey 3/4 length sleeved shirt. This is again from Reitmans and is very comfy and soft. This is perfect for the long flight ahead!

For shoes I went with a pair of black Steve Madden boots. Now let me tell you, I knew that I needed a  pair of shoes with comfort, but knowing me, I didn't want to go with "sensible" shoes. These were not too pricey and had the same comfort of Blundstones. They almost look the same as them but they have some cute gold detailing at the back.

For Accessories, I chose to bring an infinity scarf. I bought this scarf in Italy and it has gotten good use. I use it all the time and it is so big that it could double as a blanket! (also good for the plane!)

For my coat, I went with this spring jacket from Jean Machine. I wanted something a bit lighter because of the weather difference in Germany and Prague. I love the gold detailing of the zippers and the cinching of the waist!

Lastly, I am bringing my school hoodie, because I know that I am going to want to get comfy on the plane! What's more comfy than a cozy hoodie?!

I hope to be posting more as I travel through Germany and Prague for the next week! Stay tuned for more posts!

The Oscars 2015: Fashion Faves!

Hello lovelies!

Now I don't know about you, but I love the Oscars! I love seeing all the nominees getting all dulled up for a sparkling evening! I especially love seeing what they wore, and their outfits were fashion "do's and dont's".

Here are my Top Oscar Fashion choices from this year!

Best Dressed Women:

1)

Rosamund Pike looks beautiful in her custom Red Givenchy dress. This is my favourite look of the night, and it flatters Rosamund so much. This stunning lace gown features a daring, yet tasteful slit in the front but still looks very elegant. The sinched waist also makes her subtle curves pop! The combination of her flawless makeup and pulled back hair, and her killer dress makes for one of the most beautiful fashion looks in Oscar history!

2)

I don't think you can go wrong with Lupita Nyong'o. Her Oscar style continues to amaze and she looks stunning in this Pearl dress by Calvin Klein. It flatters her body so much and is very seamless and timeless. Her look gets a 10 in by book, and it is so intricate! You go Lupita!

3)

This dress speaks for itself! Jennifer Lopez stuns with an Elie Saab gown! (This has to be my favourite designer of all time!) J-Lo is so gorgeous to begin with, that this dress just adds to her stunning glow. I cannot express how much I love this dress and it looks so good on her. Tool and sparkle was clearly the way to go!

4)

Last but not least is Emma Stone. Not too many people could pull of this colour but Emma looks dashing and daring in her Elie Saab dress. I love how she didn't go with a predictable dress and went for something a little more sleek and out there! I adore this dress and along with her coral lip and her red hair, she killed it!

Best Dressed Men:

1)

First off is Eddie Redmayne. He looks so dapper and adorable in this Alexander McQueen custom suit. I love the subtle combination of Navy and black, and it is fitted perfectly! His bow-tie is the perfect touch to the perfect suit.

2)

Now I'm not going to lie....I LOVE John Stamos. Maybe it's because he is a Greek God, but I thought that he was one of the best dressed men on the Red Carpet! I love that he is going with a classic all black ensemble, and adding a hit of colour, with a red pocket square. With his killer smile and his sexy suit, what's not to love?!

3)

Ansel Elgort looks fantastic in his Prada suit. Again, this look is very similar to the Alexander McQueen suit worn by Eddie Redmayne, but it still looks just as fabulous! He looks very sleek and his bow-tie, ties the whole ensemble together!

Most stunning couple:

The award for best dressed couple has to go to Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo. The lovely couple looked amazing in a red beaded Prada dress, and Black Prada suit. I have to admit that Adam Levine looks pretty sexy and put-together! His slick suit complements Behati's form-fitting red and black dress. The two outfits complement each other so much it's ridiculous!

I hope you enjoyed my fashion favourite from this year's Oscars! let me know what your favourites were!

Stacy London's: Love Lust or Run

Hello lovelies!

I am so sorry for my long period of absence from the blogging world, but I have been sick with Strep Throat. I am slowly getting better and I had a lot of time to recover and watch some television!

I thought it would share with you one of my new favourite upcoming shows that is making its debut on TLC: Stacy London's, Love Lust or Run! Stacy London is back and better than ever!

The commericals for this look amazing and I'm a sucker for any show that involves fashion and makeovers! Stacy London is one of my all time fashion idols, and I admire her confidence and trendy style! And incase you didn't realise, Stacy London made her mark on TLC's What Not to Wear. This has been one of my favourite shows and I teared up a little when it ended. But like I say, when one door closes another door opens!

This show focuses on helping women with their over the top wardrobes and making them trendy and cute, while still maintaing their personality! The interesting concept is the how she incorporates the general public. They have a say in how her original wardrobe makes her look and how first impressions make a difference.

I cannot wait for the premiere on Friday January 23rd at 9/10pm! Tune in for some fashion filled fun!

Let me know what  you think of the show!

OOTD: Christmas Day!

Hello Lovelies!

Today is Christmas! I can't believe how fast it came! I thought I would show you my Christmas OOTD!

Outfit: I am wearing a brand new burgundy dress from Dynamite, and a pair of black tights! I am in love with this dress because it fits me like a glove. The material cinches in at the waist and flares out! This makes for the perfect party dress. The colour is perfect for the Holidays and makes any occasion more festive!

Accessories: I am wearing a beautiful rose gold bracelet from Fifth Avenue Collection and a statement necklace from Accessorize (a store in Greece). The bracelet is a chunky bracelet with little jewel accents! In my opinion this is perfect for the Holidays! I mean, who doesn't love a bit of sparkle! The necklace has these little tear-drop shaped crystals in burgundy, navy, and gold.

Makeup: I decided to go simple with my makeup look so it wouldnt take away from the dress and accessories! I use Covergirl's Age Rewind Concealer to even out my skin tone. Then I used a Matte Powder from Rimmel London to set the concealer and leave my face looking smooth and not shiny! Then I applied my favourite blush from MAC to add some colour to my face! For eyes, I applied a neutral base, followed by a blush shimmer shadow from Covergirl. to finish off my eyes, I used a L'Oreal  fine tip eyeliner and the maybelline lots of lashes mascara!

I hope you enjoyed this OOTD and have a Happy Holiday!!
