The Oscars 2015: Fashion Faves!

Hello lovelies!

Now I don't know about you, but I love the Oscars! I love seeing all the nominees getting all dulled up for a sparkling evening! I especially love seeing what they wore, and their outfits were fashion "do's and dont's".

Here are my Top Oscar Fashion choices from this year!

Best Dressed Women:

1)

Rosamund Pike looks beautiful in her custom Red Givenchy dress. This is my favourite look of the night, and it flatters Rosamund so much. This stunning lace gown features a daring, yet tasteful slit in the front but still looks very elegant. The sinched waist also makes her subtle curves pop! The combination of her flawless makeup and pulled back hair, and her killer dress makes for one of the most beautiful fashion looks in Oscar history!

2)

I don't think you can go wrong with Lupita Nyong'o. Her Oscar style continues to amaze and she looks stunning in this Pearl dress by Calvin Klein. It flatters her body so much and is very seamless and timeless. Her look gets a 10 in by book, and it is so intricate! You go Lupita!

3)

This dress speaks for itself! Jennifer Lopez stuns with an Elie Saab gown! (This has to be my favourite designer of all time!) J-Lo is so gorgeous to begin with, that this dress just adds to her stunning glow. I cannot express how much I love this dress and it looks so good on her. Tool and sparkle was clearly the way to go!

4)

Last but not least is Emma Stone. Not too many people could pull of this colour but Emma looks dashing and daring in her Elie Saab dress. I love how she didn't go with a predictable dress and went for something a little more sleek and out there! I adore this dress and along with her coral lip and her red hair, she killed it!

Best Dressed Men:

1)

First off is Eddie Redmayne. He looks so dapper and adorable in this Alexander McQueen custom suit. I love the subtle combination of Navy and black, and it is fitted perfectly! His bow-tie is the perfect touch to the perfect suit.

2)

Now I'm not going to lie....I LOVE John Stamos. Maybe it's because he is a Greek God, but I thought that he was one of the best dressed men on the Red Carpet! I love that he is going with a classic all black ensemble, and adding a hit of colour, with a red pocket square. With his killer smile and his sexy suit, what's not to love?!

3)

Ansel Elgort looks fantastic in his Prada suit. Again, this look is very similar to the Alexander McQueen suit worn by Eddie Redmayne, but it still looks just as fabulous! He looks very sleek and his bow-tie, ties the whole ensemble together!

Most stunning couple:

The award for best dressed couple has to go to Adam Levine and his wife Behati Prinsloo. The lovely couple looked amazing in a red beaded Prada dress, and Black Prada suit. I have to admit that Adam Levine looks pretty sexy and put-together! His slick suit complements Behati's form-fitting red and black dress. The two outfits complement each other so much it's ridiculous!

I hope you enjoyed my fashion favourite from this year's Oscars! let me know what your favourites were!

Valentine's Day: Chocolate Covered Pretzels!

Hello lovelies!

I have a fun post for you today! I love Valentine's Day. It's a day filled with love and yummy treats! This recipe for chocolate covered pretzels is so delicious and super simple.

What you need:
1) Pretzels (you can choose which ever size you want)
2) White Chocolate Wafers
3) Red Chocolate Wafers
4) Festive sprinkles
5) 2 baking sheets covered with parchment paper
6) 2 small bowls
7) A squirty bottle (don't know if there is a better term for that!)

Step 1:

Get all your ingredients out. Next melt the white chocolate in a bowl. This can be done in the microwave or in a glass bowl over a pot of boiling water. Heat until the chocolate is completely melted. While this is melting you can put your sprinkles in a bowl! (*Note: you may need to reheat your chocolate as you are doing the pretzels because it hardens quite quickly!)

Step 2:
Take your pretzels and dip the upper half into the chocolate and then gently shake the pretzel to get off any excess chocolate. Then take your chocolate covered pretzel and cover it with sprinkles!

Another alternative for decorating is taking the white chocolate covered pretzels and drizzling them with the melted red chocolate. You would use the squirty bottle for the red chocolate. (Use the same process as the white chocolate to melt the red chocolate)

Step 3:
Place your pretzels on the parchment paper to dry and harden. They harden fairly quick, so this is a fun and fast Valentine's treat!

Step 4:
ENJOY!!!! They are so delicious and I have gotten so much positive feedback! I made them for my friends at school and put them into little cellophane bags and tied them off with a ribbon. They make for perfect gifts and are seriously tasty!

They are the perfect combination of sweet and salty!

Let me know if you like the pretzels and I hope you have a great Valentine's Day!

Blogilates is the Way to Go!

Hello lovelies!

Now I know that not everyone likes exercising and may find it hard to find a program that they like or a class that they want to take. Trust me, I fall into this category! It's hard for me to find a fun way to exercise and become healthier. I know it would be easier if we could all just sit on the couch and watch TV all day, but we need to stay healthy and that means exercising!

This is why I wanted to talk about a new Youtube channel I discovered called "Blogilates"! This channel is run by a woman named Cassy who does really good workout videos! She is a youtuber and fitness expert! I don't know if its her positive attitude or her killer exercises, but I instantly fell in love with her videos.

Cassy is a motivator and helps you understand how to workout properly while having fun! She is also known as one of the top 25 health and fitness influencers in the world!

Currently, I doing her February Challenge and boy is it making me work hard! I can't tell you how great it's made me feel. Her workouts are designed for people who workout all the time, and also for beginners. I think this is what I love most about her. There is no pressure to feel like you have to be able to do the crazy expert exercises, but she does motivate you to build up your stamena and eventually participate in the more difficult exercises. I am feeling healthier and that is my main goal!

It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or not, her videos will work you hard and the results are awesome!

Please check out Cassy's Channel and feel free to follow her on twitter for new video updates!
