My Youtube Inspirations

Hello lovelies!

I get a lot of my style/beauty inspiration from Youtubers. Youtube is an amazing way to learn about different hair styles, makeup routines, personal style, and lifestyle. I thought it would be neat to share some of my all time favourite Youtubers with you and how they've had an influence on me, not only in style, but in life as well! Let me know who your favourite youtubers are in the comments!

1) Zoella

If you don't know who Zoella (Zoe Sugg) is, then you've been living under a rock. She is an inspiration to many, and she always makes me smile. Zoe makes videos about her daily life, as well as beauty and style videos. Although, we only get to see little snippets of her life, they make me smile, and feel more confident about myself. This is one of the reasons I love her and her videos. She always talks about how she is by no means perfect and that she started from the bottom to get to where she is now. I feel that that is a message that everyone should take into account. No one is perfect, and being you is simply better than faking perfections. She will make you smile, and laugh until you can't laugh anymore :)

Feel free to check out her channels:

2) Tanya Burr

Tanya Burr is a really well-known Youtuber, who does beauty and style videos on her main channel. She recently produced her own line of cosmetics, and I am so proud of her for achieving one of her life-long goals. Her videos always leave me smiling and feeling happy. She is one of my main fashion icons and I admire her sense of style, and her personality! If I had to pick one word to describe Tanya, it would be sweet. She is loved by many, and she always has a positive outlook on life. This made me think about how I view the world. I feel that I should have a more positive view on life, and maybe that will make everyone around me feel better as well. This is exactly what Tanya does. Because she is happy, her positive vibes are reflected on her friends.

Please check out her channels:

3) Bethany Mota

Bethany Mota (Macbarbie07) is one of the most famous beauty youtubers. Aside from being a youtuber, she is also a designer and she is on DWTS. She is one of my inspirations because I love her fashion sense, and her makeup is flawless! I know that she started from the bottom by making a beauty video, and slowly her audience grew. Now she has over 7 million subscribers, and she makes amazing videos. I love how she can just be herself and she doesn't care if people judge her. She has always said to be yourself and don't change for anyone. I feel like I always think too much of what others will think of me, but I have to learn to be confident in myself and my views. I take Bethany's words to heart and she makes me feel empowered and confident in who I am.

4) Sprinkleofglitter

Sprinkleofglitter (Louise) is one of my favourite youtubers to watch if I need something to lift my spirits. She makes beauty/style videos, but she also does vlogs. In all her videos, she makes me laugh so hard, and I can't help but feel better. Her outgoing personality is why I love her so much, and she makes me want to try new things, and be more social. I feel that I can be a bit shy in some cases, and I wish I wasn't! I need to put myself out there and be proud of who I am as an individual. One of mmy favourite things about Louise is that she embraces her curves! She is so proud of who she is and who she has become: youtuber, friend, mother, and wife. I love Louise so much, and she makes my day, everyday!

5) Niomi Smart

I have only recently started watching Niomi's videos! They are really well made, and I love her channel! She makes beauty/style videos, and also does daily vlogging. She reminds a lot of Tanya Burr, in the way that she is so incredibly sweet and is very sociable. She also makes me want to have a more positive outlook on life. I also love how she is all about a healthy lifestyle, and she always gives great advice. Her smile is contagious, and I can't wait to keep watching more of her videos in the future! I have been watching her videos a lot recently and I think you should check them out!

My Top 4 Fall Candles

Hello lovelies!

Since Fall is here, and the weather is cold outside, I decided to talk about my Top 4 Fall candles! I adore candles because they make any room feel warm and smell amazing. Plus, they are the perfect necessity for the Fall and Winter seasons. All these candles happen to be from Bath and Body Works, and they are not too pricey. When I went, they were 3 for $12.00, or each is $5.00. I went with the smaller version of each candle to test them out and see if I would like them. Hope you enjoy!

1) Ocean Driftwood
Let me just begin by saying that this scent is one of my all-time favourite scents that Bath and Body Works has for candles. It basically smells like a man in a jar. (Um...did I just write that! lol) It has a subtle sweet scent of cologne and makes your room smell amazing! I am almost done this candle as you can see, so I will definitely be re-purchasing it!

2) Leaves
Leaves is the perfect candle for Fall. It smells literally like Fall leaves, mixed with a hint of cinnamon spice. I love this candle, and I usually burn it in my room or in my living room. If you love Fall as much as I do, then I would definitely give this candle a try!

3) Flannel
Flannel is another one of my faves because it is perfect for that sweater weather we've been having recently. This candle also has a subtle scent of cologne, much like that of the Ocean Driftwood candle, but it has a stronger scent of cinnamon, and fall spices! This one definitely feels like a warm hug on a cold day ;)

4) Autumn
This candle is sort of self explanatory, but It smells like everything you love about fall, in one jar! It smells of cinnamon, spices, sweet desserts, and fresh fall leaves! I can't get enough of this candle at the moment, and I highly advise you to try it. You won't regret it!

Hope you give these candles a try!

Makeup Organizers: Re-purposed Flower Pots

Hello lovelies!

As you all know, I may have a slight obsession with makeup, (okay... maybe a huge obsession), but I never seem to keep it all organized. I thought that it was about time I began to organize my makeup and facial products so they are easy to find.

I happened to be out shopping at Dufresne, when I came across these three little metal flower pots that came in a little metal tray. I fell in love with them and knew that I would have use them for something! In the store, they had them displayed with little flowers inside, but i figured that I could re-purpose the pots and use them for my makeup products. I love that the pots are silver because they can go with almost any room colour palette and they look so chic!

In the first little pot I put my foundations/BB creams, my most frequently used mascaras, my concealer, and my highlighter. In the second pot I put my pressed powders, my blushes, and my larger lip balms. Then finally  in the third pot, I put my brushes, and eyeliners. Although this is not all my makeup, it helps keep my makeup addiction organized. I keep this on my dresser so i can do my makeup in the morning.

There are always multiple uses for so many products just like these cute little tin pots, and you never know what you will find! Who would have thought that I would have found a makeup organizer at a furniture store!

Hope this gives you some inspiration on how you could use to organize your makeup!

OOTD: Back to the Basics

Hello lovelies!

I am so sorry for not posting in a while but with school starting I haven't had a chance! This is why I decided to do an OOTD for you today!

My outfit today is pretty simple but still fashion forward. I decided to go with a cute pair of blue jeans from American Eagle, and a solid black layered blouse from Zara. I feel that sometimes it's nice to stick to the basics and by pairing two solids together, you can achieve a very classic look. No outfit would be complete without a bit of accessorizing, so I paired this outfit with two bracelets: one from Pandora, and a turquoise bangle that I got as a gift! Stacking bracelets can dress up any outfit, and they add visual interest to a basic look. I also wore my new earrings from Stunning, a local boutique! What can I say, I can't resist a little bling!

Basic pieces are the way to go and you can make them your own!
